I’ve returned to Silver Star for my third year of coaching and I’m happy to say that the season start has been pretty fantastic this year. Despite the rainy weather, dedicated riders are still making it out to shred at the hill! (Lots of wet roots and wood discussion in the clinics!) We have twice as many coaches as last season, and I’ve been having fun making new friends. :p
The traditional private lessons and camps are back this year, but several brand new programs have also arrived, all of which I’m pretty excited about. Monday nights are now men’s nights (I’m not going out on men’s night but I heard they had fun on the first couple!) Both Champions League and Ladies Night are on Wednesday, so moms that bring their kids up can have fun at the same time. Fox Fridays are the toonie races, and the first one is coming up this weekend. I’ll be out there racing and having some fun!
Last winter was one of the best I’ve ever had for skiing and boarding, but it’s so refreshing to be back out on the mtb trails. Two more months of shredding – now I just need the sun to stick around more. (I saw some this morning, woohoo!)
